These kinds of things stick with you. and they teach you a lot.

I remember interviewing for one of my last roles in corporate, thinking — I have nothing to lose, I’m just going to be me. Wholly me. That was the moment I stopped shrinking. Started speaking up (respectfully). Began building for a new way forward. And realized that the very things that once led to me being underestimated were the reasons I succeeded.
